The University Grants Commission will hold the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 24th Dec 2011 to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship. After qualifying the exam candidates applying for Lectureship, will be eligible to apply in Indian universities and colleges and JRF candidates will be eligible to pursue research in the subject of their PG or in a related subject and are also eligible for lectureship.
UGC NET Dec 2011 will be held on 24th Dec 2011 as per info available at the official website ugconline. NET exam Dec 2011 notification will be available from 26th September, 2011 at the official website of University Grant Commission (UGC).
The award of JRF will depend on the performance in all 3 papers of UGC NET. Candidates appearing in NET should clearly mention in the Application Form for what they are applying for both JRF & eligibility for Lectureship OR only for Lectureship.
